A six-year COBS instructor, course director, and staff trainer, Austin is also an accomplished snowboarder and outdoor film cinematographer.  He has been on major trips to Alaska, British Colombia, Ecuador, and Kyrgyzstan, and is sponsored by Colorado-based Never Summer Industries as well as Scott Sports.  Austin is spending the winter between Logan, Ut. Jackson, Wy. and Crested Butte, Co.
